LGV Residents Prepare for Barangay and SK Elections

by Kaye Robles

In an effort to encourage residents of Loyola Grand Villas to take their civic duties seriously, the Board of Directors, under the leadership of Joy Guevara and Lilu Tanjangco, the President and Vice President respectively, made arrangements for a COMELEC REGISTRATION of New Voters & Transferees, and Reactivation for Marikina and Quezon City residents of the subdivision. The event was held last March 21, 2017 at the Multi-Purpose Center, and was attended by 80 people.

Registration was as simple as bringing an NSO Birth Certificate, valid ID with LGV address, and proof of billings with LGV address to the MPC and many were finished in less than an hour.

We urge our neighbors who were not able to take advantage of this event to get registered if such an event would happen again. Quezon City residents especially are encouraged to register as we would need to meet a certain number of voters to have polling precincts at the LGV MPC, similar to the arrangement for our Marikina City voters.
