Marikina City Residents Pay Real Property Tax at LGV
by Kaye Robles
The LGV Board has always tried to make the lives of the community’s Marikina City residents easier and they continued with this tradition by requesting Mayor Marcy Teodoro to allow them to make their residential real property tax payments at the Multipurpose Center.
The Marikina City 2017 Statement of Accounts were made available at the LGV Admin Office by January 23 and residents were reminded to pay in Cash or Manager’s Checks payable to the Marikina City Treasurer’s Office.
Last February 4, 2017, under the leadership of ICO – City Treasurer Miguel R. Rebanal, a total of 178 persons made their payments at the satellite office set up at the MPC between 9AM to 5PM. It was certainly convenient for our residents, many of whom were able to reap the benefits of Marikina City Ordinance No. 62, Series of 2016, which stipulates that a 50% discount will be given to all who can fully pay their residential real property taxes by March 31, 2017.
Let us thank the board for their proactive leadership!
